Workshop on labor rights of youth

“Let’s work on the topic” was the title of the workshop that FORUM 16 held on June 7, 2018 as part of the campaign “365 days of youth rights”. FORUM 16 is a local partner with Coalition SEGA in the implementation of part of the campaign activities in the Bitola area.

At the workshop itself, held in the premises of the Youth Cultural Center Bitola, the attendees had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rights and obligations of both workers and employers, then with rules regarding working conditions, working hours, vacations and wages, as well as with safety at work and in the workplace. During the workshop, we used interactive working methods, and we also used the Handbook “Rights@Workfor Youth” of the International Labor Organization.

The campaign “365 Labor rights for youth” is implemented with financial support from the Program for decentralized cooperation between the region of Normandy and Macedonia and support from the State Labor Inspectorate and the Agency for Youth and Sports of the Republic of Macedonia and Coalition SEGA. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness among young people about their labor rights which are guaranteed in accordance with the Law on Labor Relations.
